Recovery Community News & Information

Lincoln's House residents volunteer at Lawrence Bread & Roses Food Pantry and feeding the homeless.  Many residents have trade skills and freely assist with building shelves, removing trash, creating inventory, and feeding dinner guests.

Just this month, Lincoln's House has offered their driveway for Bread & Roses van to be housed due to the limited parking in Lawrence.  According to Danielle Donohue, owner of Lincoln's House, she's glad to assist Bread & Roses.  "Volunteering helps people in early recovery focus on something other than their personal hardships." This community of boisterious, kind, energetic residents at Lincoln's House help many of their neighbors with landscaping, snow removal, fence repair and just basically being a good neighbor.
