The historic Lincoln's House Recovery Residence located in Methuen's East End. Previously owned by the Presentation of Mary Convent since 1965, the beautiful Victorian home was purchased in October, 2017 by Danielle Donohue. Like the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Lincoln's House is a recovery community of fellowship, sobriety and living life on life's terms through simplicity, compassion and 'paying it forward.' The residents of Lincoln's House believe in supporting each other through meals, shared challenges, friendships and most of all, sober living.
The serene environment offers residents an opportunity to rejoin families, reignite careers, discover holistic tools to deal with life's challenges, share dreams and become a part of something bigger than themselves.
Lincoln's House has 4500 square feet of single, double and triple bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 4 community rooms, Netflix/Wi-Fi, private parking, and weekly Big Book meetings.
The road to recovery has its challenges and we want to offer support through our tight-knit community. Each resident in recovery has their own path to follow. Being an addict or alcoholic comes with its own challenges. Lincoln's House is MAT friendly, dual-diagnosis friendly and will work with Probation and Parole to help anyone that is serious about their recovery. Although we allow most prescription medications, we do not allow any use of THC regardless of external authorization.
